e-Apostille: Electronic Apostille
e-Apostille known as the Electronic Apostille Certificate is the digital version of a paper apostille. It serves the same purpose of legalising a UK document for use in another country that is part of the Hague Apostille Convention. However, instead of being attached to the document as a physical stamp, it is embedded within the electronic document itself and secured with a digital signature.
Can be uploaded only on pdf with an Advanced Electronic Signature (AES), or a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) by a UK Solicitor or Notary.
